Start your Voyage – Apply Now Profile Summary To assist Senior Mortgage Production officers in the origination of new mortgage production and the management of the existing portfolio. Your primary responsibility will include working with the production officers on underwriting and structuring real estate investment proposals for core, bridge, value add, subordinate debt, construction and participating commercial mortgage loans. Profile Description Perform in-depth analysis of real estate investment proposals for core loans, bridge loans, other value>add opportunities and subordinate debt Analyzing construction and participating mortgage opportunities. Assist in committee approvals, drafting and acceptance of commitments, and the loan closing process. Assist in the loan closing process including lease review, third party reports, estoppels and SNDA’s. Support senior loan officers in the management of correspondent relationships, handling requests from Mortgage Banker’s and Borrowers. Work closely with risk management team to monitor existing portfolio; involves review and market underwriting to monitor existing and/or future risks. Support the Real Estate Finance team’s efforts to attract and maintain 3rd party capital through interaction with the Structured Finance Team. Promote a positive attitude and working environment among fellow employees. Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures. Develop efficient working relationships. Other duties as assigned by department management. Knowledge & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or Finance with a focus in Real Estate. Minimum 2 years commercial real estate and analytical experience required. Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills. Appraisal background Customer Orientation Team player Excellent problem solving/decision making skills. Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
