Position: Mechanical Estimator | Pay: 90k - 150k
Type: Full time | Mode: Direct Placement
Description:
- The candidate will be responsible for the production of detailed bids and attending pre-bid and post-bid meetings.
- This candidate will be expected to interface with both our existing and prospective new clients.
- The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the industry and should be able to discuss and adapt to a wide range of sectors, including industrial, commercial, healthcare and educational.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in estimating projects ranging up to $5 million dollars of process piping, plumbing and hydronic heat.
- The candidate should have previous experience with competitive bid, negotiated, conceptual / design build schematic estimates and projects.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of mechanical piping and airside systems as well as other related trades
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Must be energetic, pro-active, inquisitive and systems oriented. Must show competency, accuracy, organizational skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills both written and oral are needed
- Must be a self-starter and team player with a strong sense of urgency
- The ability and desire to provide solutions
