What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician I position at Imperial Irrigation District?
Under general direction, performs paraprofessional engineering work by providing support and assistance to professional engineering personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate’s degree with a major in civil or agricultural engineering or related field and two years of engineering technical experience in flow data management, water monitoring, and test and program data communication equipment.
Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required.
A valid driver's license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.An official current driving record (obtained within the last six months) from your local State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or from the official DMV website must accompany the job application (no third-party records accepted).
