Imperium3 New York, Inc. (iM3NY) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Quality Control Technician (2nd Shift)
Imperium3 NY dba “iM3NY” is a startup Lithium-ion battery cell development and manufacturing company with HQ and high-volume manufacturing plant located in Endicott, NY. We have an advanced LMP cell that incorporates patented Bio Mineralization to create an industry leading BMLMP cell. We are well positioned for expansion in the future by a well-conceived product road map with advanced chemistry for future generations of products that are in advanced stages of research and development.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain inspection reports
- Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
- Perform inspections across all stages of production
- Prepare and maintain test data for review
- Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency

Skills Required
- Solid understanding of test equipment
- Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience strongly preferred
