We're Hiring: Chemical Process Engineer | Chemicals Manufacturing | [Richmond, VA]
Are you a detail-driven Chemical Engineer with a passion for improving manufacturing processes? We’re looking for a Chemical Process Engineer to join our team and lead key initiatives in operational efficiency, safety, and plant upgrades.
In this role, you’ll work hands-on across all levels of production—planning major facility improvements, troubleshooting daily operations, and training plant associates. You'll also collaborate closely with our EHS Manager to ensure compliance and safety remain top priorities.
What You'll Do:
🔧 Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analyses
🛠️ Lead and support plant upgrade and process improvement projects
📈 Develop procedures and provide training for operations staff
📋 Maintain accurate plant documentation and support safety reviews
📊 Generate technical reports on performance, operations, and plant efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
🏭 2 years of experience in chemical manufacturing (chlor-alkali a plus!)
💻 Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
💡 Proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills
🧪 Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on industrial environment
