Marketing Operations Associate

JOB SUMMARY:

A pivotal role on the digital marketing team, the Marketing Operations Associate coordinates and executes multi-channel campaigns to drive value across the entire member lifecycle. Reporting to the Manager, CRM Marketing & Analytics, this role is primarily tasked with building and deploying Email and SMS campaigns to prospects and members to achieve our new membership goals and member engagement objectives. Additional duties include assisting with campaign reporting and supporting the marketing team with ad hoc projects and initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Manager, CRM Marketing & Analytics with building and deploying multiple, large-scale Email & SMS campaigns to prospects and current members every week
• Leveraging current ESP, Braze, assist with audience segmentation, A/B testing and Email/SMS campaign analysis to improve results   
• Support the digital team with ad-hoc website content updates including content refreshes (promotions, member events etc.), ensure content is accurate and optimized for driving new membership units (“NMUs”) and increasing member engagement
• Assist digital team with performance marketing reporting using channel and internal analytics platforms (Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, etc.) to help identify trends and drive incremental NMU conversions
• Support content team by publishing blog content to inshape.com
• Assist team members with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects, vendor invoices, meetings, and activities as needed 
• Help the team identify new processes and procedures to streamline campaign operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 
• Attend and participate in required meetings and trainings as needed

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
• Ability to work with interruptions, changing priorities and a busy work environment with tight deadlines
• Can quickly learn and adapt to new platforms. 
• Experience in digital marketing a plus.
• A team player who can work quickly and efficiently as part of a team with the ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Interest in emerging marketing trends & technologies.
• Knowledge of basic HTML a plus, willing to learn a must. 
• Experience with reporting and analytics a plus (Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads) 
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work professionally and effectively with people at all levels of the organization with physical locations spread throughout the portfolio
• Self-motivated with high energy with a positive attitude
• Self-managing with the ability to work independently to accomplish tasks and projects, maintain a structured work environment and regularly meet department and company deadlines.
• Proficient skills in MS Office with an emphasis in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
• Ability to work with interruptions, changing priorities and a busy work environment with tight deadlines.
• Displays good judgment, confidentiality and diplomacy in handling important company information and communicating with others

• This is a hybrid role. You’ll spend up to 3 days a week in the Sacramento office and the rest of the time working remotely.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to walk and stand up to 8 hours/day and/or sit for extended periods of time. Team members are occasionally required to use hands and fingers for handle or feel; occasional reach, push and pulling with arms and hands; occasional climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and occasionally reach and twist, including side-to-side movements. Team members working in the clubs may be required to occasionally lift, carry or move up to 25 pounds and may seldom be required to lift, carry or move 26-50 pounds.
