Position Summary: The Patient Access Registrar welcomes and assists patients and families at check-in, ensuring a positive experience. Responsibilities include collecting and verifying demographics, insurance details, and required signatures, as well as explaining patient liabilities and obtaining necessary authorizations. This role supports timely service delivery and may involve guiding or escorting patients and visitors within the facility. All interactions should reflect empathy, accuracy, and respect for patient confidentiality. What you will do: Greet and register patients upon arrival. Confirm insurance, benefits, and patient details. Collect co-pays, signatures, and necessary documentation. Provide support and directions to patients and visitors. What you will need: High school diploma required; associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. At least one year of experience in healthcare or customer service preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
