What are the responsibilities and job description for the Simulator Console Operator (SCO) position at INCATech LLC?
SIMULATOR CONSOLE OPERATOR (SCO)
Location: Shaw AFB, Whiteman AFB, Ellsworth AFB
Clearance: Top Secret SCI
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide real-time MQ-9 simulator mission support (DTT/DMO), including Emergency Procedures, Mission Control Element, and VIP demos.
- Load scheduled missions prior to instructor/student arrival.
- Remain present during simulator execution to make real-time tactical adjustments as directed.
- Troubleshoot simulator issues (maintenance/programming) in coordination with OEM reps.
- Maintain MQ-9 simulator usage logs and daily discrepancy logs.
- When not actively supporting missions:
- Assist with training event profile programming using Zeus, CAVOK, MACE, or similar systems.
- Collaborate with Weapons (DOW), Training (DOT), and Current Ops.
- Coordinate with instructors to pre-plan injects (mIRC/voice) and play white-cell roles as needed (enemy forces, other aircraft, ground units, etc.).
- Support mission debriefs with scenario/event feedback.
- Link simulators for multi-ship operations as required.
- Operate simulators to support continuation training, safety investigations, tests, and guest events—even in non-instructional roles.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Related Experience:
- Ability to:
- Operate MQ-9 simulators (DTT, DMO, Zeus, MACE).
- Follow tactical scenario adjustments and instructor guidance in real time.
- Troubleshoot and report simulator discrepancies effectively.
- Log system use and performance accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capable of supporting classified training events and mission simulation environments.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting MQ-9 training or flight operations.
- Familiarity with AF/ACC simulator platforms and tactical simulation tools (Zeus, MACE).
- Previous experience in distributed training environments (DMO).
