What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Technician position at INCOG BioPharma Services?
This position will support the functions of the INCOG BioPharma facility and grounds. The facilities tech will oversee maintaining the different equipment, fixtures, and furniture within the site through routine maintenance and regular check-ups to ensure all equipment is working properly at all times. In case of malfunctioning items, the facilities tech will try to repair these items or schedule the item for repair. This role is responsible to ensure the facility's occupational safety and health standards are met, and facilitate a safety-first mindset by adhering to and encouraging other to follow safety protocols.
Essential Job Functions:
• Provides general and detailed maintenance, including patching, painting, hardware repairs and other repair/replacement work as required
• Performs routine facility and equipment maintenance
• Schedule and oversight of outside contractors performing facility work including preventative maintenance, small projects, or site improvements / maintenance
• Resolve issues that arise in day-to-day running of facility systems, provide timely responses and solutions to minimize system downtimes
• Performs routine daily inspections of assigned buildings and spaces
• Maintenance oversight of all facility grounds including landscaping, snow removal, irrigation system, trash compactor, recycling programs
• Maintain inventory of facility related spare parts and supplies
• Assists, or performs solo when needed, general and detailed cleaning of facility, interior and exterior spaces.
• Follows the Facilities Work Request System
• Maintenance of facility equipment systems including; HVAC Systems, Plumbing Systems, Appliances
• Under supervision of engineering and utilities technicians, assisting and performing maintenance of utility systems including; Boiler / Plant Steam Systems, and Refrigeration Systems
• Completes all documentation for work performed, in a timely manner
• Oversees and performs the duties associated with events, including executing the set-up plan in a timely manner, breakdowns are completed on schedule with spaces returned to normal state.
• Other duties as assigned
• Work flexible hours to ensure production facility coverage

Special Job Requirements:
• High school diploma with technical training or equivalent military training
• 3 years troubleshooting and repairing facility systems in an operations or manufacturing setting
• Certification in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field is preferred
• Physically capable and available to work overtime and/or respond to afterhours alarms including weekends and holidays
