About This Opportunity

InComm has two unique programs at Sam’s Club – one with pay-from-scan, point-of-sale-activated, vendor managed inventory, (POSA), the other with traditional cost-of-goods inventory (EV).  The Inventory Analyst I will interface with Sam’s Club’s replenishment team as well as with multiple teams within InComm to support both of these programs for both in-club and dotcom. 

 


Responsibilities

  • POSA
    • Manage replenish-able inventory reserve at InComm DC, maintaining weekly inventory reports and submitting reprint requests as needed.
    • Review weekly replen orders with InComm DC, resolving any inventory allocation issues
    • Action 3rd party merchandiser and zero sales reports
    • Ensure new items are set-up for replenishment, generating orders and being reported on by 3rd party merchandisers
    • Plan and execute proactive shipments to support promotional activity and seasonal spikes
    • Forecast inventory needs and order replenishment to avoid out of stocks
  • EV
    • Submit weekly PO line updates (MABD and Qty) to Sam’s Club
    • OTIF reporting, tracking and analysis
    • Product order tracking
    • Analyze, monitor and identify trends in product availability and inventory
  • General
    • Track shipments through to delivery and check-in at club and dotcom
    • Work with supply chain on Sam’s Club priority logistical initiatives
    • Proactive communication with internal team regarding inventory concerns
    • Ad hoc sales & replenishment analysis

Qualifications

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, related curriculum, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant replenishment or inventory analysis experience, preferably with a Walmart vendor.
  • Excellent attention to detail and timely responsiveness to internal and external requests.
  • Able to analyze large amounts of data quickly and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills; technical, analytical, decision making and problem solving skills to influence customer contacts.
  • Positive attitude and an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, self-prioritizing work load in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment.
  • Able to manage expectations and develop strong working relationships with customers both inside and outside the organization.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting.
  • Systems: Madrid, Retail Link, GRS, Excel, Outlook. Experience in Access and/or SQL are a plus.
