Contract Specialists- Indiana

We are currently hiring for the following position:

Contract Consultant: Various Specialists (SEL Specialist, Curriculum Mapping Specialist, ELA Specialist, Elementary Math Specialist, MTSS Specialist, Special Education Specialist, High School Redesign Specialist, EL Specialist, Pre-K/Early Learning Specialist)

Hours: varied; based on contract

Location: Indiana (primary); possible travel outside of Indiana

THE POSITION OVERVIEW

As an INcompassing Education Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expertise to educational leaders, teachers, and support staff in your area of speciality.

This is a contracted position and reports directly to the CEO, while also working closely with members of the leadership team.

We are seeking a confident and knowledgeable individual who is fueled by providing top-notch service, enjoys collaborating with team members, is available for contract work, and has experience supporting administrators and educators with high-quality professional development. This is not a full-time position.

You must also be willing to primarily travel around the state of Indiana, in addition to potential work across the country to support schools. This will occasionally include overnight stays due to the locations of the schools.

INcompassing Education provides high-quality professional development for educators.

We currently serve public and private schools both in and outside of the state of Indiana. We have a team of full-time and contract consultants who serve schools in a variety of areas. We are excited about providing high-level training, mentoring, coaching, strategic planning, and other professional development.

Dianne McKinley is the CEO of INcompassing Education. She holds an Ed.S from St. Thomas University in K-12 Educational Leadership. She also holds a B.S.Ed. from the University of Georgia and an M.Ed. from Georgia State University. She has been in education for over 25 years in five states. Dianne has been a classroom teacher, writing coach, building-level administrator, Outreach Coordinator for the Indiana Department of Education, and opened INcompassing Education in 2016.

You have extensive experience providing professional development at the school and corporation level. You have been a strong classroom teacher and had strong, positive results with students. You are a dynamic teammate and contribute and collaborate independently. You are adept at working effectively with a wide variety of people inside and outside the organization, acting as an extension of our team and INcompassing Education. - You have a strong background in leadership, professional development, coaching teachers/administrators, curriculum and instruction.

- Have a minimum of 5 years leading your speciality at the school or district level.

- Have expertise in facilitating professional development sessions.

- You are looking to serve schools through an organization, not growing a business of your own.

- Are a fast learner and can implement new material quickly.

- Comfortable with Microsoft suite, and Google suite, are also comfortable with online tools, and enjoy learning new technology.

- Intrigued about continual improvement of schools and how to support their growth.

- A great communicator and know how to facilitate respect, ease, and flow with our clients.

- Trustworthy and can be counted upon to safeguard the confidentiality of not only our business but our clients as well.

- Comfortable both working from home and traveling.

- Are able to avoid distractions when working from home.

- Calm under fire.

THE ROLE

- Provide attention to detail as you prepare documents and various correspondence

- Develop and provide professional development training

- Maintain a professional relationship with our clients over time

- Collaborate with colleagues

- Solve problems through helpful recommendations and practical suggestions

- Present both in-person and virtual sessions

- Travel to support schools on-site

A TYPICAL DAY MAY LOOK LIKE

- Traveling to a school to provide on-site PD

- Providing virtual PD from home

- Connecting with schools via email and phone

- Meeting with your supervisor

MUST HAVES:

- Experience with GSuite (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides), Zoom, Canva

- Quiet In-home office

- Stable internet connection

- Personal laptop with video capabilities

- Reliable transportation
