Sales/Estimator/Project Manager

Independent Concrete Cutting Inc (ICC) currently has an open position for a Sales/Estimator/Project Manager in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas, including east Ventura County and Malibu.

ICC is searching for a goal oriented, talented individual with exceptional leadership and organizational skills to fill a Sales/Estimating/Project Managing positions in our very established flagship area of the San Fernando Valley. Through extensive hands-on training, personal mentorships and countless opportunities for professional development, ICC’s goal is to hire and develop the leaders of our company through our sales/management positions.

Primary Duties:

· Read, interpret and thoroughly understand the drawings and specifications of a project

· Methodically inspect all aspects of the project on-site

· Accurately evaluate and price projects in accordance with company practice and in a manner that optimizes revenue potential for target markets and clients

· Review estimates internally, with clear communication of project scope, technical approach and risk; define and defend risk mitigation measures included in the estimate

· Manage multiple estimates and projects simultaneously

· Effectively convey information on awarded projects to execution team, remaining a resource throughout the project life cycle.

· Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with existing and new customers

· Support company operations as needed

Qualifications:

· Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related subject and 3 years relevant experience (see below) or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Established relationships with area contractors preferred

· Must have a valid Driver License with satisfactory driving record

· Must be able to obtain security clearance into secure job site locations and pass drug test upon accepting job offer

Relevant Experience:

· Estimator, Sales, or Project Manager for an established Construction Contractor/Sub-Contractor (concrete cutting/demolition experience preferred)

· Project Management in the Construction Industry, ideally in a concrete cutting and demolition environment

· Concrete Cutting and Demolition work site supervisory experience, with knowledge of estimating principles, budget tracking and production rates

Skills & Knowledge:

· Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

· Computer skills (MS Office, take off software, estimating software)

· Able to work as part of a team on large projects or individually on smaller projects

· Knowledge of local construction standards and regulations

· Able to prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively, all while working to strict deadlines

· Good written and verbal communication skills

· Organized and detail orientated

· Able to close sales with effective follow up

Work Schedule:

Generally, a Monday to Friday schedule with some shared Saturday’s flexibility required to meet workload and customer needs

Compensation: Starting Base Salary: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 dependent on experience and qualifications.

Pay cycle is weekly. Independent Concrete Cutting offers an industry leading comprehensive benefits package (after respective wait periods) including the following:
