Position Summary
The Accounting I position requires analytical and problem-solving skills. He/She is expected to work efficiently in an environment that is fast paced and should be able to easily adapt to changes in workload.
Essential Functions
- Providing administrative support including the preparation of spreadsheets to the finance department.
- Maintain financial records safeguarded and organized
- Assist with other special projects
- Preparing Bank Deposits
- Entering transactions in Great Plains
- Assisting with the monthly financial statement closing
- Participating in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain a specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Education and Experience
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Have an intermediate understanding of computers and systems
- Have 1-2 years of accounting experience
