Minimum Qualifications
- NYS Teacher Assistant Certificate with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree
- The candidate shall be eligible for New York State certification as a Teaching Assistant, and shall have a successful background of college preparatory experience.
- Working with individual pupils or groups of pupils on special instructional projects.
- Utilizing their own special skills and abilities by assisting the instructional program.
- Providing academic intervention services.
- Assisting in related instructional work as required.
- Assisting in student supervision.
- Other related duties as assigned by teacher or administrator.
