Unit Culture
The OB ICU team consists of a fantastic group of nurses, physicians, case managers, social workers, patient care assistants, unit secretaries, and respiratory therapists. You will engage in a high level of collaboration with many of these disciplines on a regular basis in order to provide excellent care to our patients. BSN preferred.
Qualifications
- Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
- Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
