Seeking Dimensional Metrology Technician with professional ambitions 

This is an entry level position designed to prepare an individual for Equipment Service Engineering and Applications Engineering roles. Because of the high level of training and professional development invested in this role, the candidate must demonstrate a history of:

Essential Functions: 

  • Be an enthusiastic and credible guide to Indicate’s content  
  • Pursue mastery of technical knowledge and skills  
  • Understand boundary conditions and debugging of processes and systems  
  • Receive and hand-off projects involving alignment of complex details  
  • Confidently apply analysis, new/customized approaches, and complex problem solving requiring knowledge of equipment, software, and industry  
  • Provide reports that clearly and accurately communicate test results  
  • Effectively present and defend test results  
  • Perform equipment demonstrations  
  • Attend trade expositions  
  • Participate collegially as a team player  
  • Evaluate customer requirements  
  • Assist in connecting customer needs with Indicate's offerings
  • Perform sensitive assembly tasks 

Requirements:  

  • Strong analytical aptitude  
  • Strong mechanical aptitude 
  • Experience in service oriented activities  
  • Excellent written, verbal, and nonverbal interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Motivated to produce high quality work that is well designed and executed  
  • Maturity and safe work habits in an industrial environment  
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with excellent driving record  
  • Ability to work overtime 

Preferences: 

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical experience 
  • Background in one or more of our key markets - automotive, aerospace, power generation, metalworking, machinery, bio-medical, etc  
  • Background in one or more technical disciplines - metrology, quality control, additive manufacturing  
  • Familiarity with one or more types of equipment - CMM's, 3D printers, 3D scanners, machine tools
