Job Title: Oracle EBS Developer (Custom Development with OAF)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Developer to take on custom development of Oracle EBS modules using OAF (Oracle Application Framework). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building custom pages and modules from scratch—not just customizing existing ones. You will leverage OAF components to develop robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of critical applications in Oracle EBS.

Key Responsibilities:

Custom Development:

• Design and develop custom Oracle EBS modules from scratch using OAF components (View Objects, Application Modules, Entity Objects, and Controllers).
• Develop custom pages and user interfaces tailored to specific business needs using OAF.
• Create custom workflows, approval processes, and business logic using Oracle Workflow Builder.
• Utilize PL/SQL, APEX, and XML Publisher to extend and integrate EBS functionality.

System Integration:

• Implement integrations with third-party applications via APIs, FTP, and Web Services to ensure seamless data exchange.
• Develop custom Web ADI solutions to extract and load data using Excel and other data sources.

Data Management:

• Oversee data migration and conversion activities, involving complex data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop and execute SQL scripts to manage and manipulate data in Oracle databases.

Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing EBS applications, resolving issues as they arise.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting for new features, enhancements, and customizations.

Performance Optimization:

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in EBS applications.
• Optimize PL/SQL code, SQL queries, and overall system performance to ensure efficient processing.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Document technical solutions, customizations, and development processes.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior developers and end-users on new features and best practices.

Skills / Qualifications Required:

• Extensive proven experience with Oracle EBS development using OAF (Oracle Application Framework), specifically with View Objects, Application Modules, Entity Objects, and Controller Updates.
• Strong experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, and JDeveloper.
• Deep understanding of Oracle EBS architecture (R12 and beyond) and its underlying technologies.
• Proficient in data integration techniques such as APIs, Web Services, FTP, and custom Web ADI solutions.
• Familiarity with XML, JavaScript, and other web technologies in the context of Oracle development.
• Advanced PL/SQL, SQL, and Java development skills.
• Knowledge of Oracle Database tuning and optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with functional teams, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on best practices and development tools.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience developing custom Oracle EBS solutions from scratch using OAF.
• Strong portfolio of OAF-based projects demonstrating your ability to build complex pages and applications from the ground up.
• Experience in Oracle EBS R12 and familiarity with the evolving features of Oracle’s latest versions.
