Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert wound care to patients with acute, chronic, or surgical wounds in accordance with evidence-based protocols. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote optimal healing and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans
Provide direct wound care, including debridement, dressing changes, and wound vac therapy
Monitor wound healing progress and document findings accurately
Educate patients and families on wound care, prevention, and management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, dietitians, and physical therapists
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on wound care practices, products, and technologies
Ensure compliance with infection control policies and safety standards
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Wound care certification
Minimum of [1-2] years of clinical nursing experience; wound care experience strongly preferred
