Coating Operator

Indorama Ventures Mobility Scottsboro SafeTweave is currently hiring coating operators for 3rd shift.

*Essential Job Functions: Operate machinery to apply coating on fabric. Ability to push, pull, and or lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to follow work instructions & Customer specification sheets Basic computer skills Maintain legible handwriting skills Meet schedules and timelines Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others Miscellaneous task as instructed by Management

Typical Duties: Perform assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures. Adhere to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position in accordance with ISO/TS policies, procedures, and work instructions. Complies with the work rules and Employee Handbook. Displays appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group settings which provides a positive influence on other workers. Refers to specification sheets and work instructions before commencing work. Perform any specified quality checks for each job or function. Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites. Assure that all work assignments are performed in accordance with Customer specifications, instructions, and requirements. Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $19.36 per hour
