Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Estimator / Marketing professional to support our growth by preparing accurate job estimates and helping promote our services to new and existing clients. This role blends technical understanding with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial millwright projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and job requirements
- Perform quantity takeoffs and labor/material costing
- Coordinate with operations and field personnel to validate scope
- Track bid submissions and follow up with clients
Marketing & Business Development
- Promote company services to prospective and existing clients
- Assist with client outreach, proposals, and presentations
- Maintain relationships with customers and industry contacts
- Support branding, marketing materials, and online presence
- Identify new market opportunities and leads
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial estimating, marketing, sales, and project coordination
- Mechanical hands-on experience a plus
- Knowledge of millwright, mechanical, or industrial services is a strong asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and estimating software
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple bids and priorities
