Opening in 1995, Industrial Plating Corporation has been providing Lynchburg, Virginia and the surrounding areas with multiple types of metal finishes for steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium parts. Here at IPC, we specialize in high quality and quick turnaround metal finishing. We pay close attention to detail to ensure every part is returned to the supplier with a seamless and even coating that will provide protection from corrosion and rust. Turnaround is very important to many of our customers and we work hard to return your parts as quickly as possible.
Job Overview/Duties:
Employee will be responsible for greeting customers when they arrive to drop off or pick up parts and help with their requests as needed.
Remove aluminum parts from boxes or skids, prep and clean aluminum parts, then rack them.
Move all parts down the line with the electric hoist, cleaning them and preparing them for finishing, ensuring thorough rinsing between each step.
Turn on and off rectifiers as needed and ensure corrects amps and voltage is drawn.
Dyeing and then drying aluminum machined parts.
Employee then QC's parts and then packs them into box's or on a pallet after they have cured.
Daily maintenance around shop- sweep, mop, empty trash cans.
Running errands for shop- as needed (valid driver’s license required).
Potential for cross training to be a backup on other lines after a period of time.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
