What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse, RN (Full Time) position at Infectious Disease Consultants?

Established Infectious Disease office with 8 physician providers.
Education: Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.
License/Certification: Active RN License from the State of Virginia.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience (preferred).
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Limited weekend morning hours for patient IV infusions, as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Patient Triage
- Overseeing Medical Assistant with vital signs and medication reconciliation
- Communicating with patients and relaying information to physicians
- Management of in-office IV infusions. Placement of IVs, mixing and administration of drugs
- Communicating with home infusion companies regarding patients receiving home IV antibiotics
- Providing wound care
- Vaccines
- Etc.

Pay: Willing to negotiate based on experience.
