Role: Subject Matter Expert Senior (Cloud & Infrastructure Architect)

Location: Laurel, MD | Hybrid (up to 2 days remote)

Duration: 2 Years

• Microsoft Azure (hybrid & native architecture)
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, SCCM/MECM)
• Azure Entra ID, Azure Site Recovery, Citrix NetScaler/XenApp
• Backup modernization (e.g., Commvault, NetBackup) and DR solutions
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration

Duties / Responsibilities

Design and implement hybrid and cloud-native architectures using MicrosoftAzure and Office 365.

Lead migration of on-premises infrastructure, including storage and backups, tocloud-based environments to reduce operational overhead and improveresiliency.

Architect, implement, and support Microsoft Endpoint Management solutions(Intune, SCCM/MECM) for streamlined device management, app deployment,and compliance.

Integrate identity and access management systems (Azure Entra ID) and supportmulti-factor authentication for secure remote access to internal systems andapplications.

Implement secure access architecture using Azure Front Door, APIManagement, Application Proxy, and MFA (e.g., RSA SecureID).

Design and execute Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for disaster recovery in bothcloud and on-premises environments.

Provide Citrix NetScaler and XenApp infrastructure setup and support forapplication delivery.

Perform cost optimization analysis of cloud infrastructure services andrecommend right-sizing strategies to improve financial efficiency.

Coordinate and execute cloud security posture assessments and enforceremediation of identified vulnerabilities or misconfigurations.

Ensure compliance with security and patch management policies acrossworkloads.

Deliver technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials tointernal IT teams and business stakeholders.

Collaborate with business units, application owners, and external vendors toensure alignment of infrastructure solutions with organizational goals.
