We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for clients by promoting positive behavior changes and skill development.

REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN Duties:
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to monitor client progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive client information.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.
Requirements
- Lake County School Badge is required
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is required.
- Knowledge of special education practices and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Familiarity with behavioral health concepts, including behavior management techniques.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or related developmental disorders is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to collect and analyze data accurately for effective decision-making.
