SUMMARY

Infinity Sign Systems is seeking an experienced Sign Installer. Reporting to the Installation Manager, this role is a dynamic, hard-working and customer focused position. The role is primarily a local traveling position with an expected rate of travel to be less than 5 days per month on average. This role installs exterior signs for a variety of clients onsite to completion. This position is based out of the Kansas City, Missouri facility. Typical hours are 4-10s (M-TH) and work is primarily outdoors.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:

• Works safely and enjoys working in a problem-solving install environment.
• Have an eye for quality and detail.
• Self-manages while being a strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Maintains strong, honest communication with Infinity team while at customer sites.
• Completes work accurately and on time.
• Interacts with clients occasionally.
• Possesses physical dexterity to operate tools and participate in lifting signage and other architectural elements for loading trucks as well as installation of the product.
• Communicates openly and frequently with Installation Manager and all necessary in-house team members.
• Possess basic technical skills.
• Ability to solve problems as they arise.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Must own basic tools and have proven ability to use various power tools.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel with short notice.
• Flexibility and willingness to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends).
• Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints or shop drawings. Uses drawings for evaluations.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• 0-3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas of sign installation and/or fabrication, finish carpentry, welding, vinyl and graphics installation.
• Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting.
• OSHA training and DOT certificate is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of mounting and installation safety protocols.
• Valid commercial driver’s license and a clean driving record (CDL preferred)

• The employee must be comfortable working in elevated areas.
• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, or crawl
• The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• The employee must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
• Employee must be able to talk and hear

While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
