Infinium Pharmacy, a privately owned Long-Term Care Pharmacy, is dedicated to delivering personalized pharmaceutical care to Skilled and Assisted Living facilities. We are currently seeking a Long-Term Care Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team.
Position Overview
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, performing key tasks in line with established pharmacy policies, procedures, and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prescription fulfillment (i.e., Various packaging, Compounding, IV preparation
- Provide top-notch customer service through receiving and processing order requests.
- Daily Fill including controlled substances
- Staging items for delivery
- First Dose supply fulfillment and management
- Data Entry
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the pharmacy team.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Missouri Pharmacy Technician License required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
- Experience in Long-Term Care or similar settings required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong data entry and typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.
- Must be self-driven with excellent communication skills.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours/day).
- Utilize visual acuity to read fine print and work on a computer screen for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring a range of motion, such as bending, kneeling, and reaching for stock.
- Minimal travel (0%-5%), facility visits may be required occasionally.
