🔧 Ready to bring your sterile processing expertise to a cutting-edge facility serving multiple hospitals and surgical centers? We’re seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join a dynamic, high-volume off-site reprocessing center in Bethpage, NY on a contract assignment.
🕐 Shifts available:
- Day: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Every other weekend required
📍 Location: Bethpage, NY
✅ About the role:
As part of a large, state-of-the-art reprocessing team, you’ll play a vital role supporting 9 healthcare facilities — including tertiary sites and ambulatory surgery centers — and providing emergency services for the community.
Your work keeps surgical teams ready and patients safe, and every day brings new challenges and impact.
⭐ What we’re looking for:
- Certification: CRCST or CSPD (must be valid for entire assignment)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience:
- 1.5 years if from a tertiary care setting
- 2 years if not
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs, stand and move throughout your shift
- Manual dexterity & attention to detail
- English communication skills (written & verbal)
Preferred: 2 years total experience
