Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure. The ideal candidate will manage daily program operations, ensure alignment with contract commitments, and maintain seamless collaboration across functional departments including production, operations, and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster collaborative partnerships with internal teams, structured within IPTs, to drive program success.
- Oversee and support the daily execution rhythm of the program, including schedule performance tracking, internal and external reviews, program management reviews (PMRs), and key decision forums.
- Prepare, update, and monitor program documentation and analyses to ensure compliance with contractual and internal business requirements.
- Work closely with production teams to align priorities, remove roadblocks, and escalate issues when necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure contract compliance in areas of cost, schedule, and technical performance across assigned programs.
- Guide program leads in the effective identification and management of risks and opportunities.
- Lead and contribute to key program activities such as financial reviews and reporting.
- Organize and manage customer-facing engagements, including program reviews and site visits.
- Make informed decisions within the IPT environment, often navigating ambiguous or incomplete data.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production and delivery commitments per customer schedules.
- Organize and support internal team meetings, program reviews, and business operations.
- Build and present clear, concise materials that communicate program status and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the voice of the customer within internal discussions, ensuring their needs and priorities are clearly understood and represented.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with external customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (e.g., Program/Project Management, Engineering).
- Demonstrated success in managing complex programs or projects, ideally through full development and into production.
- Proven leadership experience managing people and leading cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and reporting systems.
- Experience with development-to-production transitions in a program environment.
- Skilled in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Risk & Opportunity Management methodologies.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $51.07 - $75.00 per hour
