What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager, Senior position at Infor?

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for direct business development to targeted enterprise accounts. The Senior Account Manager shall identify and qualify new sales opportunities and execute an intelligent pursuit plans to position Infor products in complex enterprise manufacturing markets.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Articulate the Infor value proposition and successfully communicate the competitive advantages, resources and processes to client and prospects.
  • Work closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create appropriate solution to meet their business needs.
  • Develop compelling value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
  • Develop customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans and establish, document and maintain solid communication and follow-up procedures for all assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
  • Generate pipeline and achieve or exceed consistent quarterly quota achievement.

Required Skills:

  • Experience selling complex enterprise software systems.
  • Familiarity with our Infor's enterprise software competition.
  • Ability to establish and manage executive level customer relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Develop business relationships with extended team members to drive sales.
  • Success in achieving or exceeding assigned quotas.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of large enterprise business processes.
  • Willingness to Travel.
  • Experience selling into discrete or process manufacturing accounts.


Locations: Remote Based (Dallas, TX; Greenville, SC; St Paul, MN; Alpharetta, GA)
