What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Operations Engineer position at Infor?
The DevOps Engineer will help define Infor's compliance-as-code in the cloud, maintain integration and software delivery automation, as well as monitoring infrastructure while working with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise to help us deliver our multi-tenant application services to customers in the cloud.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
* Maintain and Support code and automation for cloud-based application delivery
* Remediate container security findings for supported applications
* Participate in standups
* Write comprehensive documentation for new and existing systems and procedures
* Design compliance-as-code for verification and alerting of configuration and scan findings
* Support 3rd Party Audit efforts
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with AWS resources
* Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
* Experience as a Software Developer with languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Java, and C
* Experience with containerization and micro-services architecture
* Troubleshooting skills in the technologies surrounding cloud delivery or container services
* Experience with Sprint and Agile methodology
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional work experience in field
* Experience creating, debugging CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with InfluxData products
* Experience with Kafka
* Application services including Lambda, Step Functions and AWS SDKs
* Experience with Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience working in or with a regulated industry, where compliance or security is critical
