Information Network Associates, Inc. (INA) is currently seeking security professionals to join our organization as Unarmed Security Officers in Lancaster, Pa.
Responsibilities:
- Perform security and resource protection services for an assigned project in accordance with all local, state and federal laws, INA policies and procedures and the site-specific standard operating procedures
- Enforce standards of conduct and adherence to applicable laws and regulations within the assigned project
- Conduct patrols of grounds, buildings and property as specified.
- Control ingress/egress to specific locations
- Apprehend and/or detain subjects within the jurisdiction limitations and in accordance with instructions and provisions of applicable laws and regulations
- Respond to emergent situations based on site specific emergency response procedures
- Maintain status charts, plotting of situations, telephone and radio communications, dispatching personnel and equipment to meet normal and emergency situations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- College degree in related field is preferred
- Three (3) years of law enforcement experience as a sworn Police Officer or Military Police Officer or five (5) years experience in security or protective force services or any combination relevant experience and education is required
- Ability to use deductive reasoning in processing information to ascertain facts regarding any and all situations
- Successful completion of INA security training program in addition to site-specific required training is required
- Valid driver's license from the state of residence and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to pass INA's pre-employment background screening, including drug screen and criminal history check
- Ability to walk, run and move over uneven terrain and/or pavement
- May be exposed to all types of weather conditions
- May be exposed to hazardous and/or dangerous situations
