Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to provide Windows 10 System Administration of hosts on the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDTE) network supporting the Personnel Accountability and Assessment System (PAAS). The selected candidate will work as the primary System Administrator for a customer managing Windows hosts that service a small user base (approximately 10 systems). The best candidate must be able to work independently and have strong customer service and organizational skills.

Specific job duties include:
  • System administration duties for Windows 10 workstations on the RDTE network.
  • Run ACAS scans of host systems and interpret results.
  • Update and patch Windows host software elements in accordance with the applicable STIGs for Information Assurance.
  • Interact with users to define issues associated with RDTE Windows 10 hosts, determine proper action, and then initiate and track trouble tickets until the issue is closed out.
  • Create a ticket tracking methodology to support PAAS end user issues and report continuous status to the PAAS PM.
  • Create and ad hoc status report, keep it current, updated and available for the PAAS PM.

Clearance Level

  • Secret
Certifications (IAT Level I)

One of the following:
  • Security CE
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
  • System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
and one of the following:
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
  • Configuring Windows 10 (70-697 or equivalent)
Required Skills

  • 1-2 Years of Experience with Windows Systems
Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
  • Experience with the IAVM process

Salary : $60,300 - $76,300
