Job Title: IT Ops/Distribution Center Support Specialist

Location: On-site at a leading distribution center

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Ops/Distribution Center Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves responding to and resolving IT service requests in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The position supports a wide range of end-user technologies, including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and warehouse technology. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Essential Functions: IT Distribution Center Support:

• Respond to, resolve, and close IT service requests according to established policies and procedures.
• Install, test, and maintain computer peripherals, such as laser and label printers.
• Configure, deploy, and support warehouse-based technology (e.g., RF guns, mobile terminals, scanners, label printers).
• Manage IT asset tagging, documentation, and organization of the IT storage area.
• Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as WaveLink Avalanche and SOTI for Android devices.
• Ensure compliance with remote device security protocols and policies.
• Support store technology, including staging, testing, and shipping equipment as needed.
  
  

Data Center Operations:

• Assist with escalations involving core operating processes and applications (e.g., WMS, OMS, Sales Audit, and polling systems).
• Provide support for data center infrastructure, including UPS, A/C, and fire suppression systems.
  
  

Infrastructure/Network Team Support:

• Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams on scheduled and unscheduled installations, maintenance, and upgrades.
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of end-user IT technologies, including hardware setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience in warehouse and distribution environments preferred.
• Familiarity with MDM tools and IT security protocols.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
