Plant Custodian

Schedule: M-F

General Duties (includes but not limited to):

• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a proper manner.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conferences, passthroughs, and common areas.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
• Perform 6S tasks if required, ensure compliance with ISO safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve a clean and orderly environment.
• Attend 6S Team meetings.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks depending on how often the task is needed to maintain thorough cleanliness including monthly deep cleaning.
• Use the “Cleanroom Monitoring Form” to record readings from the Humidifier, Chiller, and Siemens
• Check outside facility perimeters, ensure surroundings are clean and area is well maintained and presentable.
• Clean cleanrooms per Work Instruction and cleanroom protocols
• Record and report cleaning supplies to upper management and notify them of any restocking/reordering needed.
• Winter: clean sidewalks & spread Ice Melt
• Summer: periodically pull weeds, pick up any loose trash/debris

Physical Requirements:

• Is expected to sit, walk, or stand for 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to communicate verbally, be able to hear, and have clear and corrected vision for tasks that involve reading, writing, and working with small details.
• Have physical agility for tasks that involve bending, kneeling, or reaching.
• Have precise hand-eye coordination for tasks that involve handling small objects, tools, or machinery.
• Must be able to lift and/or move 30-50 lbs.
• Periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions at all times of day and year

Qualifications:

• 2 years of janitorial/custodial experience preferred.
• 1 year experience in cleanroom setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cleanroom standards and cleaning protocol preferred.
• Familiar with ISO regulated environment; highly regulated industry experience such as medical device, automotive, or aerospace is preferred.
• Knowledge of SOP’s, Work Instructions, and ISO 13485 standards preferred.
• Actively performs and understands Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Knowledge of chemical safety preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and their usage preferred.

Certifications (preferred):

• Biohazard knowledge
• Certified Custodial Technician

Skills:

• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently.
• Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple deadlines and commitments with little or no supervision, strong time management skills.
• Detail oriented and organizational skills.
• Must be able to perform simple math such as addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, measuring and decimal points.
• Must have strong desire to promote efficiency and continual improvement processes.

Immediately Upon Hire    

• 401K Retirement Plan- Employees are eligible to start contributing to Injectech’s 401K retirement plan the 1st of the month after hire date. Injectech match’s contributions up 6% of employee’s salary. 100% full invested immediately.  Roth and Traditional options available.  
• Health Insurance- Health insurance starts the 1st of the month after employment of 30 days. Injectech pays 100% of the employee’s portion. Employees will have the option to enroll their spouse, domestic partner, and dependents, that cost will be passed on to the employee through pre-tax payroll deductions.    
• Dental, Vision and Supplemental Insurance Plans- These plans are offered at a group discount rate to all employees and their spouse, domestic partner, and any dependents.
• Employee Assistance Program- The EAP is available to all employees and family members. 30 Days after Hire Date       
• Sick Time- accrues 1 hour for every 30 hours you work up to 48 hours per year.     
• Paid Time Off (PTO)- accrues 6.66 hours per month for maximum of 80 hours per year. At 36 months accrual rate is 8 hours per month for maximum of 96 hours a year. Accrual rates continue to increase.
• Holiday Pay- 8 paid holidays.

• Voluntary Paid Time Off (VTO)- 20 hours paid to volunteer at any 501(c)(3) Nonprofit.    
• Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance- Injectech fully pays for $50,000 policy for all employees. Additional Life Insurance is offered at the employee’s expense.

6 Months After Hire Date  

• Profit Share Program- Employees are eligible for our profit share program the month following 6 full months of employment.
