General Duties (includes but not limited to):
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Maintenance and organization of raw materials.
Ensure all machines are loaded with the correct raw materials.
Mixing of raw materials.
Maintain clean mixers, to eliminate contamination of raw materials.
Advanced planning for materials that must be dried and prepared for orders.
Recycling runners and sprues.
Inspect all raw materials to ensure all are properly packaged and undamaged.
Responsible for maintenance and set up of injection molds.
Responsible for setup and processing injection molding machines.
Enter job function data.
Perform periodic maintenance and repair of equipment pertaining to production.
Able to interpret engineer drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas.
Assures that all work is performed in accordance with specification instructions, and
requirements.
Support for Process Technician II and Senior Technician regarding product release and
qualification activities.
Recommends modifications of existing tooling or methods to achieve optimum
production output levels within limits of equipment capability.
Identify and document process improvements.

 

Physical Requirements:
Is expected to sit, walk, or stand for 8 hours per day.
Must be able to communicate verbally, be able to hear, and have clear and corrected
vision for tasks that involve reading, writing, and working with small details.
Have physical agility for tasks that involve bending, kneeling, or reaching.
Have precise hand-eye coordination for tasks that involve handling small objects,
tools, or machinery.
Must be able to lift and/or move 30-50 lbs.

 

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years technical/college training or equivalent manufacturing experience required.
• Knowledge of MS Office Programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• 2 years experience in cleanroom setting preferred.
• Familiar with ISO-regulated environment; preferred experience in highly regulated
industries such as medical device, automotive, or aerospace.
• Knowledge of databases, E-QMS, ERP, and SAP systems required.
• Knowledge of SOP’s, Work Instructions, and ISO 13485 standards preferred.
• Actively performs and understands Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Quality control inspection experience using calibrated measuring equipment required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Scientific Molding Principles of Plastic Injection Molding required.

 

Skills:
• Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to maintain healthy working
relationships.
• Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in
English.
• Strong time management skills and can work with multiple deadlines and
commitments with little or no supervision.
• Detail-oriented and organizational skills.
• Must be able to perform simple math such as addition, subtraction, multiplying,
dividing, measuring and decimal points.
