Responsibilities
- Lead the HR function, partnering with leadership to strengthen culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and retention programs
- Oversee performance management processes and succession planning efforts
- Administer compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS, and HR analytics
- Ensure compliance with Hawai‘i and federal employment laws, updating policies as needed
- Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and communication around HR initiatives
- Guide managers and staff on best practices, workforce planning, and organizational development
Skills

Requirements

- Experience across core HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits, payroll, and compliance
- Experience in financial services or credit unions preferred
- HR certifications (SHRM‑CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) a plus
- Full‑time presence in Hilo/East Hawai‘i, with potential for limited hybrid flexibility over time
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
