Role: Java Architect with AI
Location: New Jersey
W2 Contract Position
JD:
- Architect end-to-end enterprise web applications with focus on scalability, performance, and modularity.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Define technical standards, code quality guidelines, and design patterns for both front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Drive adoption of modern architectural practices like microservices, containerization, CI/CD, and serverless where applicable.
- Conduct code and design reviews; mentor full stack engineers across teams.
- Evaluate and integrate modern technologies including Generative AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, vector databases) where applicable for intelligent features.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15 years of software development experience with 5 years in architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and component-based UI design.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong understanding of databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Familiarity with integrating Generative AI capabilities via APIs or SDKs is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with server-side rendering and SSR frameworks (e.g., Next.js)
- Prior experience in domains like finance, healthcare, or e-commerce
- Strong architectural documentation skills (UML, diagrams, C4 model)
- Knowledge of GraphQL and API Gateways
- Certifications in Java, AWS, or Full Stack Development
- Exposure to Gen AI tools like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain
