What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Technician - Springville Warehouse Locations (interchangeable) position at Innovative Labs?
The Inventory Control Technician is responsible for maintaining all warehouse inventory transactions. Additional responsibilities include warehouse organization, cycle counts, high dollar items, system reconciliation and month-end/year-end inventory. The Inventory specialist understands all ERP warehouse functions, transactions and is responsible for gathering and reporting physical quantities of inventory via WMS generated Physical Count reports. The employee is responsible for the Physical Count Entry into EPR/WMS as well as running the Physical Count Audit Report to review variances and update on hand quantities/stock statuses. The employee must be able to operate a forklift, read and follow industry standard GMP’s.
As the Inventory Control Technician, you will:
- Ensure that inventory transaction within the warehouse are completed correctly
- Keep warehouse organized according to SOP’s
- Complete accurate cycle counts and update any relevant documentation
- Assist with end of year inventory count
- Maintain warehouse needs
- Frequent communication with key individuals for correcting & adjusting inventory
- Research variances and any findings not aligning
- Move inventory physically and electronically during cycle count process
- Employees are asked to work 40 hours weekly, overtime as necessary.
- Employees are asked to have a positive attitude, be dependable and be a TEAM player.
- Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Must be competent and able to learn all warehouse computer systems and process.
- Must have ability to operate forklift.
- Must be able to Read, Write and Understand the English Language.
- Must be able to understand basic computer navigation.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Possession of strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
- Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must have valid Utah driver’s license.
- Must have the ability to become forklift certified.
Experience and Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 months to 1-year related experience or training

Work Environment
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas were under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
