The Candidate Will
- Perform daily checks of the enterprise storage environment. Assist engineering efforts that provide engineering and technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development.
- Participate in efforts that develop recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
- Be responsible for the implementation of complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.
- View and respond (as appropriate) to events reflected in the various management tools.
- Conduct or attend various meetings (project, crew, change, configuration, etc.) and automating as much as feasible.
- Perform daily reviews of systems ensure normal maintenance functions are performing properly.
- Execute daily/weekly system health checks.
- Perform system audit log reviews as required.
- Support new projects through the project lifecycle (e.g., requirements 10%, design 10%, implementation 10%, O&M 70%).
- Be required to coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve Remedy Incidents related to systems and supporting infrastructure.
- Other Storage System Engineering/Administration duties may be required.
- Must have 2, or more, years of directly related experience
- Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security with CE or better)
- Must have a DoD Secret security clearance

Salary : $80,000 - $129,000
