- Cleans equipment and PeriOp area between procedures and on a scheduled basis, in a timely/detailed manner and in accordance with Operating Room policies.
- Maintains overall environment (e.g. empties trash, cleans spills, removes soiled linens) on a continuous basis.
- Demonstrates an understanding of infection control standards and the knowledge of general cleaning principles according to hospital policy.
- Performs daily re-stocking of designated supply areas including linen, fluid warmers. etc.
- Delivers specimens, blood products, etc.
- Obtains additional supplies and equipment for the nursing staff as needed.
- Safely transfers patients to and from in the Operating Room.
- Performs routine maintenance on housekeeping equipment.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
- Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start
