Inova Schar Cancer – Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated Infusion Pharmacist to join the team. This role will be a full-time Monday- Friday Day Shift|Sign-on Bonus & relocation assistance eligible.

Pharmacist Job Responsibilities
- Utilizes clinical documentation to obtain prior authorization approvals and appeals.
- Assists patients with timely pharmacy access to medications and documents all related communications with patients, physicians, finance, nursing, case management in appropriate platforms.
- Works with payers to obtain coverage for patients and appropriate emergency one time overrides when needed and resolves prescription insurance billing problems.
- Cleans equipment, maintains all required temperature logs and maintains accurate inventory values and drug procurement as per policies and procedures.
- Maintains accurate and up to date patient profiles and allergy and up to date medication reconciliation lists.
- Utilizes manufacturer hubs to ensure Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy and other dispensing requirements are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy.
- Experience: One (1) year of experience working in a hospital as an Oncology Pharmacist.
- Licensure: Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
