Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to children and families in need, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and services. This role requires a strong understanding of child welfare, crisis management, and conflict resolution to effectively advocate for clients and navigate complex situations.
Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of children and families through interviews and evaluations.
- Develop individualized service plans that address specific needs and goals.
- Coordinate with various service providers, including healthcare professionals, educators, and social services.
- Provide crisis intervention support to families facing immediate challenges.
- Facilitate communication between families and relevant agencies, including child protective services.
- Monitor client progress and adjust service plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of case files, progress notes, and service plans.
- Advocate for clients' rights within the framework of family law and child welfare policies.
- Participate in training sessions related to behavioral health and crisis management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or social work setting is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills to navigate challenging family dynamics.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and child protective services processes.
- Familiarity with family law as it pertains to child welfare cases.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in case documentation.
