General Description
The Market Intelligence Analyst will be an integral member of the Market Intelligence team, working to bring insights into client engagements to elevate INSIGHT2PROFIT’s capabilities and bring positive impact to our client’s businesses. This role will be integral to expanding INSIGHT’s market intelligence capabilities and will involve a mix of working on project deliverables, helping project teams, and supporting business development information needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general secondary research on topics such as competitive landscape, customer landscape, market size, market dynamics, and general industry insights
- Collect information from publicly available sources, such as company investor relations materials (e.g., 10-Ks, investor presentations, earnings transcripts); government statistical sources (e.g., BLS, FRED, USITC); and news articles or trade publications
- Write survey instruments for quantitative surveys of market participants (i.e., customers, distributors)
- Develop discussion guides for in-depth interviews with industry experts
- Analyze quantitative survey results, including output from statistical analytical techniques such as conjoint analysis or max-diff
- Develop client-ready written reports that synthesize and communicate key findings from secondary and primary research
- Present key findings of research to both INSIGHT team members and client teams
- Support Business Development by helping with company and industry research
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferred studies in general business, economics, finance, marketing, or management.
- 1-3 years of related experience in domains such as business intelligence, competitive intelligence and/or market research & analysis
- Strong quantitative skills (economics, mathematics, data and analytics) with basic working knowledge of statistics required.
- Proficient in computer applications including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Upbeat, driven, and action-oriented professional.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, including a strong sense of personal accountability.
- Ability to multi-task across several complex projects.
- High degree of ambition to perform in a dynamic environment.
