What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Project Manager position at Insource Renewables?
The
Solar Project Manager is responsible for supervising Insource Renewables’
efforts to install high quality renewable energy systems. The Solar Project Manager provides direct installation of solar photovoltaic (PV), supervises other Insource
employees and subcontractors, provides quality assurance oversight, and
supports project safety while serving the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and service solar
photovoltaic systems.
- Ensure conformance of
solar photovoltaic system installations with all applicable codes and standards, including Insource company standards.
- Supervise other installation staff during solar photovoltaic installations.
- Conform to company safety
policies and guidelines to ensure jobsite safety.
- Develop and maintain
professional networks with potential and existing clients, builders,
subcontractors, industry colleagues, code officials, and other key partners.
- Provide Accounting
Administrator with employee documentation, such as timesheets, reimbursement
forms, receipts, etc.
- Develop technical and
leadership skills to further professional development and advancement.
Requirements
- OSHA 10
Card
- Ability to obtain NABCEP
Solar Installation Professional Certification within 18 months of hire
- Minimum
of 2 years of electrical project management experience
- Journeyman or master electrician license preferred
- Commitment to quality and craftsmanship
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license
