Ambulette Driver

Elmwood Assisted Living is currently hiring a part-time Patient Transport Driver!

We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual with a good driving record to join our team!!

Job Description:

• Primary responsibilities include transporting patients, who are usually elderly or disabled, to their medical appointments in a safe and timely manner.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments with medical facilities and offices.
• Inspect the vehicle before each shift, checking the fuel, oil, transmission fluid, wiper fluid, and coolant, and reporting any needed repairs.
• Check the first aid and medical supplies inventory levels before each shift and ensure the vehicle is well-stocked.
• Assist patients into the van.
• Maintain daily driving log.

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Safe driving record
• Ability to transport physically impaired, including persons in wheelchairs.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to work with residents and office staff.
• Ambulette experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
