What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Inspire Autism?

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating children with speech, language, and cognitive disorders. You will work closely with patients under the age of 6 in an autism pediatric settings.

DUTIES
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' speech, language, and cognitive abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide therapy sessions to improve child's communication skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment plans
- Monitor child's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Meet with child's families and provide training

EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience working in a autism pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions
- Strong knowledge of Gestalt Language Processing evaluation, treatment, and parent education
- Understanding of anatomy related to speech and language
- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Familiarity with AAC Devices and implementation in treatment sessions
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient care

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
