We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncturist to join our dynamic team of 16 professionals. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, hard-working, and committed to providing excellent patient care.
Position Overview:
The Acupuncturist treats symptoms and disorders using acupuncture needles and small electrical currents. Additional responsibilities include:
- Providing massage and preventive treatments.
- Conducting lab testing.
- Utilizing herbal medicine and supplements to support patient health and wellness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to standard quality, safety, environmental, and infection control policies and procedures, complying with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Identify correct anatomical and proportional point locations based on patients’ anatomy.
- To treat patients, use needles, cups, ear balls, seeds, pellets, herbs, labs, nutrition, physical exercise, and nutritional supplements.
- Implement precautions for treating intradermal needles, moxibustion, electricity, gua sha, and bleeding.
- Analyze physical findings and medical histories to diagnose according to Asian medicine traditions. Maintain comprehensive records of healthcare plans and prognoses.
- Formulate herbal preparations based on herbal properties to address various conditions.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes and recommend adjustments to promote, restore, or maintain health.
- Educate patients on meditation, ergonomics, stretching, exercise, nutrition, healing, breathing, and relaxation techniques.
Required Skills and Abilities:

Education and Experience:
- Must be a licensed acupuncturist in Texas.
- Hold a master’s degree or post-baccalaureate certificate from an accredited institution.
- Possess professional liability insurance.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Ability to lift to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to communicate effectively and comprehend information.
- Precise coordination of finger movements for grasping, manipulating, or assembling small objects.
