What we’re looking for
We are currently looking to expand our Topeka office. Are you a detail oriented professional seeking the opportunity to work in a fun, fast paced environment with advancement opportunity? Do you have experience with the insurance industry and working with life insurance? Then you might be a perfect fit for our Life Insurance Case Manager role. The Life Insurance Case Managers primary role is to provide support to our existing producers and sales directors in the areas of application processing, case status updates, and expediting processing with the insurance carriers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Review and key in life insurance applications into CRM system
- Follow up calls on pending life insurance applications to get status updates
- Be the primary point of contact for status updates as well as resolving any issues with a pending application
- Order paramed exams and medical records as requested by the insurance carriers
Job Requirements:
- Extremely professional, highly motivated, confident, and outgoing
- Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills
- 2 years of industry experience a plus
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
