Insurance Services of New Mexico, a rooted independent insurance agency, is expanding at 631 N. 4th Street Fort Sumner, NM 88119. We are currently accepting applications for a 'Insurance' Customer Service Representative'. College degree accepted but not required. Must be a friendly, honest, outgoing person with strong computer skills and enjoy working with the public. www.InsuranceNM.com

Experienced is preferred. Property/Casualty licensed is preferred in order to work in the insurance industry.

Insurance Sales Representative Position Overview- Insurance Services of New Mexico is a statewide agency handling several top insurance companies. We are currently looking to hire an insides sales/customer service representative. The representative will work as a member of the team focused on providing insurance to help customers protect their vehicles, property, agribusiness and commercial business.

Responsibilities

Insurance Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Establish customer relationships
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and
• Service customer insurance needs
• Answers phone calls and advises accordingly
• Complete policy changes, answer policy and billing questions, take payments, and provide requested
• Documentation of workflow
• Cross-sell
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
• Enthusiastic about the role that insurance and financial products play in member’s everyday lives

Requirements

Insurance Sales Representative Requirements:

• Property & Casualty license
• Seasoned Property & Casualty licensed agent may qualify for higher income.
• Signing bonus for experienced NM licensed Property & Casualty insurance agent with more than 3 years licensed.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing.
• If not Property/Casualty licensed employer will cover the study material and exam at 100%

Compensation is depending on your interview and skills.

• Job Type: Full-time. Simple IRA after 2 years full time employed
• 90 Probation period once hired.

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year
• Computer: 2 years
• Public Relations: 1 year
• Sales: 1 year
