Job Description:
- The IT Analyst provides support for company IT equipment and applications
- This position ensures the IT infrastructure is operating efficiently while understanding business and technology needs in order to provide effective support to all end users
- Gain and maintain thorough knowledge of all applications which will allow timely and accurate response to user requests
- Provide support for Windows based platforms and applications
- Provide user-based support to end users for applications and devices - workstations, telephones, servers, networks and applications
- Assist with installation of system software and applications
- Troubleshoot technical issues, working closely with management and consultants to assess options and solutions to quickly resolve problems reducing downtime
- Assist in the set up and training of new users, ensuring the proper applications and security access is assigned
- Field incoming help requests from end users in a courteous manner, and build rapport and elicit problem details from end users
- Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization
- Properly manage and maintain back office and operational IT equipment ensuring equipment is accounted for and in good condition
- Log all support requests and ensure support cases are properly managed until resolved
- Work closely with management to ensure the safety and security of company data
- Provide recommendations which will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT infrastructure
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a Computer Science or Technology discipline; or
- Technical Certification in Microsoft, Cisco or Linux Technologies, ITIL Foundations, CompTia; or
- Equivalent work experience (e.g., at least 1 year in similar role)
- Has or is able to attain CompTia Security certification within first year of employment
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have proof of COVID vaccination and booster
BASIC knowledge in:
- Office 365 Email, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Antimalware solutions
- Network protocols and routing
- DNS, DHCP and Active Directory
- Firewall and VPN technologies
- Business backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Virtualizations and cloud solutions (VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS)
- Understanding of LAN architecture, OSI model, cabling systems, and TCP/IP
- Understanding of the use of ping, traceroute, nslookup and other troubleshooting commands

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
